I run a small online news operation called Texas Watchdog. We’re talking to a printing company about making business cards for our small staff.
We got the proofs back today. One of our team was checking over the proofs and noticed a screw-up in the 1-800 number we use — apparently someone at the firm got some numbers wrong and printed those wrong numbers on our cards.
The wrong number? Well, apparently it’s for some kind of chat line, “for exciting people nationwide.”
This kind of thing happens, perhaps, more than you might think.
